Tombola Bingo 50
Tombola have released yet another impressive new version of the popular bingo game. Following on from last month's launch of The Machine, they've now released a 50 ball game and it's called Paper. Not only is this an amazingly creative looking game it also gives Tombola their first penny bingo option. Previously the cheapest games were in Bingo Lite at 2p a ticket. Now you can play at the site for just 1p a ticket. Put your feet up and are you sitting comfortably?
Bingo50 is the summer baby of tombola, having been launched in the summer of ’09. It is the shortest of its sibling games, bingo60, bingo75, bingo80 & bingo90 so if you’re wanting a quick five minute break, grab a drink and a snack and sink into the sofa with us for a game or two of bingo50. How To Play Paper Bingo
Tombola's recent additions to the bingo world have all been incredibly stylish - and Paper is no different. The room background is a multi-layered mountain view that's been crafted from paper. Clouds move along the top of the scene whilst paper trees dominate the foregorund. Notices appear on the end of lollipop sticks. The bingo tickets are strips of paper that fold down when numbers are called and a 'homemade' traffic light counts down to the start of the game. As usual Tombola's attention to detail is impressive.
When you login to Tombola and enter Paper you're offered access to fourteen different rooms that are all related to paper. These are called Wrapping, Tracing, Tissue, Craft, Parchment, Origami and Sand. Each room runs it's own game and players can opt to wager 1p, 2p, 5p, or 10p per ticket. To play a game you simply choose the tickets that you want to buy. Just click on the 'buy' buttons at the foot of the screen to choose your tickets and then confirm your purchase. You can play between 1 and 5 tickets per game.
Jackpot Prizes
Numbers are called as in other versions of bingo, although in the case of Paper they appear via a ticker at the top of the page. The aim of the game is to get a full house by matching all five numbers on one of your tickets. The full house jackpot amount is dependent on the cost of your ticket. If you call house in just 5 calls to win a £500 jackpot whilst there's £100 guaranteed if you call house in 6 calls. This is based on 1p a ticket. These prizes increase with ticket price.
A relaxing soundtrack accompanies game play and the bingo caller's mellow tones reminds us of voice over actors from 70s children's TV. Just before eyes down you're told to 'settle in it's about to begin' followed by 'are you sitting comfortably.' In fact we do get a feeling that old style 70s children's TV shows may well have influenced the design of Paper. Take a look and let us know what you think?
Our Verdict
Everytime Tombola release a new game we wonder where they go next. The Machine, which is still the most impressive version of bingo online, was always going to be a tough act to follow. However Paper is another worthy addition to the impressive Tombola line-up. The graphics and design are just incredible and really make imagery on other platforms look dated. We love the theme too and the biggest plus point is that Tombola bingo players can now play for just 1p a ticket.
That said, whilst the soundtrack and caller take us back to childhood TV shows it is a bit soporific. We didn't know whether to go for a nap or try and find episodes of Bagpuss on Youtube. However this relaxing tune and bingo caller have probably been chosen to detract away from the fact that Paper is a speed bingo game. Overall this is another brilliant game from Tombola. We look forward to see what they have next to offer.

Welcome Offer
Aside from offering a decent chance of winning, new players will get a plentiful 200% deposit bonus on all deposits between £10 and £25. This means if you deposit £10, you will get £20 extra free. Likewise, make the larger £25 deposit and you will get £50 extra free in bonus funds. The way in which bonuses work is unique to Tombola.co.uk. Bonus funds are used from your account at a rate of 50%. This means, say you spend £2 on bingo tickets, £1 will come from your bonus balance, and the other £1 will come from your cash balance.
You are never allowed to withdraw your bonus balance, you must play through it in order to withdraw your money. If you choose to withdraw at any point before completing your bonus, you will forfeit said bonus funds (not a good idea).

Most sites offer the same old games, this is where Tombola stands out from the crowd. With their own unique software, players can enjoy a wide variety of unique games that involve the whole community. Operating for over 50 years in the land-based business, Tombola was one of the first online bingo sites, launching way back in 2005. Since then they have conquered the competition by offering amazing value, large bonuses and a large selection of fun-filled games. That being said, by far the best thing about Tombola.co.uk is the community of players. The rooms are vibrant, chatty and it seems like everyone is having a good time.
Whether you are a bingo fan or fancy a game of roulette with some roomies, you can literally do anything you want at Tombola. “Bingo 90” is the 90 ball bingo variant at Tombola Bingo. Tickets are available for all budgets, so you can play for as much or as little as you like!

Tombola Bingo 90
Aside from the 200% first deposit bonus, there are plenty of promotions to get stuck into here. These change on a monthly basis so there isn’t much use us listing them here, however, you can expect special Full House prizes, gigantic link game jackpots, special themed nights, and plenty of opportunities to win extra goodies such as bonuses, vouchers and much more!

My personal favourite game was “Pirates” which as you can imagine, is a pirate-themed bingo game with all the trimmings. The greatest thing about all the games at Tombola though is undoubtedly the community spirit. Every game (including casino games) has a chat room, which is always busy, plus you can see everyone else’s bets. I really enjoyed playing along with a game of roulette, chatting to players, plus seeing where they placed their bet.
As opposed to other bingo sites, I also got the impression that Tombola was a very fair site and paid out well. Especially with Roulette games and stuff like that, you get to see everyone’s bet, so it’s easy to see who is winning and who is not. It was easy to see that lots of people were walking away with some good prizes!
The only possible drawback that I saw about this site was the complete absence of slots games. This, in my opinion, is one of the only negative points I could find about this site because I really do enjoy a good game of slots. It would be nice if they had a decent library of slots and progressive jackpot games.

Play all of your favourite games now on your mobile phone with Tombola’s new and improved mobile bingo app. The app, which is downloadable from the website allows you to play all of your favourite games on the go, so you will never have to miss any of the action. The mobile app is compatible with iPhones, iPads, Android smartphones and Android tablets.
In all honesty, it one of the best bingo apps out there and I highly recommend that you check it out!

Summary
We like Tombola Bingo! The site offers a good welcome bonus, great bingo games, a sociable community, plus it pays out better than most bingo sites. The lack of slots games is a serious disadvantage, but because everything else is so well implemented at Tombola.co.uk, it’s hard to hold that against them. All things considered, we think Tombola is worth a look, so if you want a good, fair site, that has been around for a long time, plus provide you with a fun gaming experience, this is the one for you!
